gather
Community events and circles focused on connection and belonging.
Gather with FolcWe're not meant to navigate life alone – but real connection and belonging can be hard to find.
Our Gather sessions bring people together with intention. They create space for honest conversation, shared experience, and a sense of belonging — reminding you that you're part of something, even in the ordinary, in-between moments.
All Gather sessions are offered either on a contribution basis or a tiered pricing scale to help keep them open to everyone. Our team volunteer their time to run them, and contributions go towards running costs — keeping the doors open at Folc.
Our Sessions
SeasonalFolc Ramble
A community ramble for anyone craving time outdoors with good company. Rooted in mindful time in nature rather than distance or pace, each ramble is a chance to slow down, breathe, and connect. Tea, coffee, and a small snack are provided at the start. Come solo, with friends, or with family. Well-behaved dogs on leads are very welcome.
Coming soon!slow stitch Club
Slow Stitch Club is a place to sit down, slow down, and be with people. We gather around a table with needles and fabric — but the making is really just a reason to be together. Conversation flows, tea is poured, and something quiet and nourishing happens when people simply share space without an agenda. No experience needed.
folc Social
SeasonalA relaxed evening gathering around a shared, catered meal — a chance to slow down, eat well, and spend time with your community. No agenda, no rush. Just a table, good food, and the kind of conversation that happens when people slow down together.
MonthlyHeld – Women’s Circle
A warm, facilitated space for women to come together, slow down, and feel heard. Each circle creates room for honest conversation, reflection, and genuine connection — with no pressure to share anything you're not ready to. Herbal tea and a light snack are provided. Come as you are.
coming soon!Singing circle
A warm, informal space to sing together — folk, classics, and feel-good songs sung in community. Not a choir, not a performance. No experience needed, no sheet music, and no pressure to be pitch perfect. If you have a voice — and you do — you're welcome here. Herbal tea and a light, sweet snack are provided.
